It is indeed fortunate for those who can avail both of them as this makes it easier for the student to finance his college education.

Just make sure you are able to request a good number of quotes and from your shortlist be able to obtain one which best suits your loan needs. Grants require a number of requirement, and so it is best to study the terms and conditions attached to these grants before applying for them.
